What are vegetable flakes?

Vegetable flakes are dehydrated vegetables that are used dry or soaked in water. I use dried peppers red and green when I make meatloaf. They are the same as dried fruits. You can either eat them dry or cooked. You can dry your own vegetables with a food dryer or the microwave.

Yes, vegetable flakes are actually vegetables. They're diced and then dehydrated and put into the little packages you see at the store.
