Yes. Canola oil is a specific type of vegetable oil. You can use it to cook at higher temperatures than some other oils (like olive), and it is better for your heart than regular vegetable oil, as it has lower cholesterol and no saturated fats. It tastes just like plain vegetable oil.

Canola oil is a form of vegetable oil, so they are completely interchangeable. When you say "canola oil" you are just being specific about what kind of vegetable oil.

I use canola all the time instead of vegetable oil. No one has ever complained about the taste or texture. Everything I have made is still moist.

Yes, canola oil should be fine in most recipes. I used olive oil in a cupcake recipe recently instead of vegetable oil and it worked just fine. Maybe make a small batch first to test.

NO I cannot use canola oil as a substitute for vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is much better than canola oil. We must eat the food which is come from natural source. If we doing these than our life will be better. Canola oil is not as good as vegetable oil.
