What are the side effects of neurontin?

Possible side effects include dizziness, weakness, swelling of hands or feet, coordination problems, headache, diarrhea, eye twitching, slurred speech, tremors and weight gain.

Neurontin contains gabapentin and it is used for Postherpetic Neuralgia or Epilepsy. According to the official data sheet the most commonly observed adverse events associated with the use of Neurontin in adults were dizziness, somnolence, and peripheral edema. Less common ones are ataxia, fatigue, and nystagmus. If you experience any problems consult with your prescriber.

Neurontin (Brand name gabapentin), is prescribed for the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia, and for Epilepsy. Side effects include sleepiness, nausea, and edema (swelling from fluid retention). Always consult with your Doctor.
