Major Side Effects: Blood disorders; breast enlargement (in both sexes); breathing difficulty; chest pain; convulsions; difficulty in urinating; eye changes; fever; fluid retention; heart attack; involuntary or unusual movements of the mouth, face, neck, and tongue; joint pain; liver damage; low blood pressure; menstrual irregularities; mouth sores; muscle stiffness; palpitations; rapid heart rate; rash; skin darkening; sexual difficulties; sore throat.

The most common side effect of compazine is sedation - it will make you tired. The most concerning side effects are to the central nervous system, specifically Tardive-Dyskinesia and Neuroleptic-Malignant-Syndrome.

Some of the most common side effects are, decreased sweating, dizziness, drowsiness, mouth dryness, nasal congestion, and mild constipation. Some more rare and more serious side effects are, blurred vision, fainting, loss of balance,and stiffening of arms or legs. Some very serious side effects are, puffing of checks, twitching, and increased blinking or eyelid spasms.
