well, the negative effects of steroids are not that bad if you use them with moderation some of them are that they can enlarge the heart it can lend you to have high blood pressure it hardens the artheries and they can high your cholesterol levels those are the effects.

The negative effects of steroids usually take place when they are are misused and abused. Some of these negative effects include enlargement of the heart, high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries, elevated blood cholesterol, and in men, loss of libido (sex drive), and shriveling of the testicles. In females, there can be signs of masculinity.

It depends on what you mean by steroids. The anabolic steroids that athletes can abuse have serious negative side effects such as mood swings, reproductive problems, liver damage, etc.
