Is there steroids in anti inflammatory eye drops?

I have swelling in my eyes do to an allergy, the doctor has given me anti inflammatory eye drops and I am concerned that they may have steroids in them.

Some do have steroids in them. You would have to read the label or ask the pharmacist before you have the prescription filled.

It's possible, you must look at the eye drop composition where the most important information is the class of the medicine. If it's a steroidal drug, it will be written.

Steroids are not all evil. If you kept abusing them to try to gain muscle, then that is what is bad. Sometimes steroids are used to treat illness as well. If you do as your instructed on your medication, you will be fine.

Steroid anti inflammatory eye drops are very effective for eye allergy treatments. If you are using it based on the advise of a doctor, there is no need to worry.
