I know they are the best for when you are running or jogging or hiking. My wife bought one and she is so happy that it does so much better than anti shock cd players.

Most any modern mp3 players are a good choice for exercising/running as long as you have adequate protection for the player. Cases are generally very inexpensive as well. Good luck.

They are the best for when you are jogging. I had an apple I-pod and it sucked when I was jogging or when I was hiking. It constantly wanted to skip and play games. I bought the Philips Nike and it is great and has a great memory and won't skip for under $100.00.
