What are some pleco breeding habits?

I have a Plecostomus I would like to breed.

Like many animals, diet and environment are important factors in breeding. A high protein flake feeding is recommended and some sort of "cavernous" habitat. Also, keep an eye on water temperature. A 1/2 tank water change is recommended after a few weeks. New water being 5 deg. colder.

Breeding plecos in captivity is very hard and rarely can be achieved. If you're up to the challenge provide many dark caves within the aquarium.

This is a very difficult feat. There are not many people that ahve been able to breed these fish in captivity. If you are very adament about this do as much research as possible, good luck!
