There are lots of open problems in math. The Riemann hypothesis, the Collatz Conjecture, and the Goldbach conjecture are three well-known problems.

Open-ended math problems abound. The Millenium Prize Problems are of particular note. Examples include the Riemann Hypothesis, the P=NP question, the Hodge Conjecture, and the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture.
