Pibull bloodlines are the names of the kennels they come from. it also can come from the name of the champion pitbull that most breeders are trying to get. The breeder usually is trying to get a certain type so they come up with new names for bloodlines.

Bloodlines are the genetic line from which a dog comes from. There are many different bloodlines for pitbulls and other breeds. Try researching your dog through the AKC, or for unregistered dogs, try the UKC.

The term "pitbull" isn't a breed. There is the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Terrier (and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier). The AmStaff and Staffy are both recognized by the AKC, the APBT is not.

Breeding lines. Parentage delineating the quality and purity of the breed. Pitbull bloodlines indicate any breed that has a lineage relationship with a pure-bred pitbull.

The best way to find out id to contact a vet and they have alot of material they can give you about it that way you will be sure of what your doing because some lines have genetic problems that follow them the vet would know which ones.

It is the line from which the dog is descended. Many dogs can be related due to inbreeding. Usually an attempt is made to avoid this. Pitbulls can be descended through many generations and their lines can be traced to find out if there are health issues that run in the line.

In all cases, bloodlines just refers to the Sire or Kennel from which the dog came from. Pit Bulls are not supposed to look stocky and short like some Kennels.
