Usually, there is nothing to worry about regarding urine overages in the kidneys of baby boys. Your doctor will closely monitor the condition and may require some additional testing if the issue does not resolve itself over time.

The kidneys filter the blood to remove excess water and impurities, which forms urine, which is then sent to the bladder and eventually eliminated from the body. Kidneys do not store urine. If tests show issues with kidney function, you should have a lengthy discussion with your son's doctor.

Retention of fluid in the kidneys is pretty common in newborns. It should be checked regularly with ultrasound to make sure the condition of hydronephrosis isn't occuring, it can be life threatening. Foretunately as the boy grows the problem should sort itself out, just keep an eye on it for now.

The problem of too much of urine in kidneys usually, occurs due to abnormal size of kidneys. This would cause the kidneys to stagnate too much of urine. This orders occurs in girl baby, in case of baby boy it is very low. This could also be by any urinary blockage. This could be cured by pills.
