Should I be concerned about my dog who was accidentally sprayed with Raid?

Before I could stop spraying for ants in my kitchen my dog ran in and I accidentally sprayed him.

In the 1980s my grandmother used to spray it on herself and her dog to keep the flys and other bugs off of them. Shes 90 now and the dog lived to a normal age. lol!

He should be fine as long as you didn't spray him in the eye or mouth. However, never spray raid when you or your pets are indoors. It's harmful to breathe in. I suggest spraying your home and then taking your dog for a walk or running errands with him.

Unless he ate a good deal of it, he should be fine. Watch for signs of illness or throwing up.

You should consult your Vet asap. He would probably be fine, as raid in small amounts for a large creature isn't AS harmful. Watch him for at least 24 hours, if he starts to act odd in any way or won't eat/drink, consult an emergency vet as soon as possible. Have him drink lots of water to flush his system.

Ensure your dog didn't eat/lick any of the spray. Take him outside to get fresh air. If it got on his fur/skin, be sure to wipe it off.
