My motherboard has a hole cut out of it, what should I do?

It depends on where the hole is and if it is supposed to be there. If the hole should not be there, then your best bet is to buy a new motherboard to replace the damaged one. The motherboard was made by highly-precise machines, you won't be able to repair.

Well if it has been damaged the the probably isn't a lot you could do. You could glue the board together and re-solder the connection but it might now work.

Ahaha, well, that sounds like a pickle. The chances are, that if your piece of circuitry has a legitimate hole cut in it, it likely doesn't work. Test it with hardware you don't care for just to be sure. My advice: chunk it.

well, lets see... If the hole is supposed to be there, then do nothing. This situation is fine. However, if someone took a drill to the motherboard to create this hole, then i would say that it is time to buy a replacement motherboard. I like to use pricewatch dot com for my computer needs.
