There are a few things that may be causing this. You should take your dog to your veterinarian to be certain it isn't anything serious. Your dog could have worms. Most cases can be cleared up fairly easily with treatment. It is also possible the dogs glands need to be expressed and your vet can do this.

The dog is trying to tell someone it is hurting and needs help, it could have hemorrhoids some type of tumor, worms, a rash, a number of things could be wrong including constipation or infection, it could even be a combination of any of these factors and needs to be addressed with a vet.

It means that she is sick and her butt is sore. She needs to be taken to a Veterinary to make sure she is okay!

It's possible that she has worms or some other problem. If she does there will be little white, wiggly things in her poop. Yes, I know, it's gross but it's a fact. If that isn't the problem you should probably try taking her to the vet to see what's wrong.

Yes, I know it\'s a bit gross but if you care for your dogs well being you will go to any measure! I thought she was constipated at first but that is not the problem nor, any worms that I could see. She is doing better.  add a comment

Obviously something is bothering her there. Since you don't want your dog to be uncomfortable I would give her a bath and wash the area thoroughly. If it continues, I would take her to your vet to get her checked out just to make sure there is nothing wrong and she is alright.

I will try this, it hasn\'t been more than 2 weeks since we took her to the groomer and I don\'t want her skin to get dry so in a few days I will try and see if this helps. She is doing better but still seems a little aggigated.  add a comment

This means your dog is unwell, there may be iritation in the area. The best thing to do would be to take her to a vet to get the issue resolved

May be there is something stuck your dog's butt which could be making the dog irritated but usually dogs feel itchy around their butt and it's hard for the dog to reach that area to scratch it with its teeth, when it's unable to reach it starts barking out of irritation.

well we recently had her shaved since her puppies mangled her hair around her sides. I checked and I didn\'t see anything unusual. She is doing better now but I didn\'t do anything out of the ordinary except give her a nice massage.  add a comment
