I have heard it is possible to still have a period while being pregnant. It is more common in the early stages of pregancy. It is called break through bleeding and is usually not a medical emergency.

While it is possible and not that uncommon to have some bleeding during pregnancy, this bleeding is not the same as menstruation. The uterine lining is not shed while pregnant, and therefore it is not a period of the true sense of the term. There are many possible reasons for bleeding during pregnancy.

It is very possible to have your period while your pregnant, especially in the first few months. There are some people who didn't even know they were pregnant and still have their period and gave birth. It depends on the person because some will have a light cycle and some will have a normal cycle.
