Is it healthy for my husband to still run a business with his ex wife?

If they had this business before your marriage and they are both critical to the operation, it may just be a fact of life. Make the best of it.

That mainly depends on how amicable of a breakup it was. Many people have been able to still remain friends, co-workers or even co-owners (as this case is) with their exes successfully if the divorce proceedings were calm and fair. If it was a nasty divorce, then of course it's not.

For most people it is not a good idea, there is often time too much history. It can become to familar and to easy to slip into old ways. It is better to cut the business ties along with the divorce.

It depends on the individual. If your husband and his ex-wife have a cordial relationship and no major unresolved issues between them, sharing a business may be healthy and productive.
