They are not the same. hydrocodone apap 5-500 is loratab and hydrocodone apap 7.5-500 is vicodin. The 500 is the amount of mg of acetominophen meaning tylenol the 5 and 7.5 are the amount of narcotics.Aspirin is ASA.This is important because APAP is very hard on the liver and more than 2000mg/day
