Yes there is actually forest depletion in the U.S. but it isn't that rampant now as it was before since they are really strict about illegal loggers.

No. There is actually more forested land now than there was in 1920, mostly due to farm abandonment and expanding national parks.

Yes! It is a huge issue in the United States. Most of our natural forests are gone. Many of them are going to be unable to grow back because we are cutting them down so rapidly. It is resulting in the lost of habitat for many animals, as well as a spread of desert climates.
