What could cause bladder control issues in a female collie?

My collie is having bladder control issues.

It would be the same as all dogs. Age of the dog plays a roll in bladder control. A new diet could cause increased urination due to hormone imbalance. Another thing that could cause bladder control is increased relaxation. Any other bladder control issues would be more a medical concern and should be brought to the vet.

Sometimes dogs, especially spayed, older female dogs, can develop urinary incontinence. Your dog needs a urinalysis and exam by your vet to rule out a bladder infection. If your dog does have urinary incontinence, there are a couple different kinds of drugs your vet can prescribe that may help control this issue.

Spayed female dogs are prone top urinary incontinence. Other causes are diabetes, a urinary tract infection, kidney disease, or neuropathy. Sometimes this can be treated with mediations.

This can be caused By fear, new situations, Change in Diet or old age along with a host of other problems. You can speak to your vet about it at his or her next check up and see about conducting tests to look for hidden medical problems. Most of the time its one of the reason above.
