Yes. Chewing tobacco is addictive. Some claim it is even more addictive than cigarettes or cigars. Hope that helps a little.

It is super addictive. My husband has been chewing since he was 18, and he can't go more than a few hours with out a chew. They are just like cigarettes and you would be smart to stay away unless you want lip cancer or throat cancer or gunk in your teeth.

From my experience with people that do chew tobacco, it is extremely addictive. I have friends and many acquaintances that chew tobacco and none of them seem to want to quit at any time. This seems to me to be an addiction. One person in particular admits it is a disgusting habit and still cannot seem to quit.

Yes, the same chemicals exist in the it as in cigrettes. And it worse for oral cancer, because of the contact with the mouth
