Is a baby Black Widow spider poisonous?

Answer by  PaintedRoadkill (504)

All spiders, from the moment they are born are poisonous. In some species of spiders the babies are more poisonous than the adults due to a concentration of poison.

The adolescent and male Black Widow spider are harmless. The female black widow spider is the most poisonous spider in all of North America and, often, fatal within a few hours. The baby spiders are not poisonous. A spider bite of any kind should be checked out by a physician.

Yes. They all are. Each one of them has venom. It only takes a very tiny amount to hurt you. Even "baby" spiders have enough to seriously hurt you.
