I think I have either muscle spasms or cramps in hands, what should I do?

This could be nutritionally related. You may need potassium and magnesium. If you work many hours on a computer, or repetitive movements, learn how to rest and relieve.

It could be carpal tunnel syndrome. Or just symptoms from using your hands too much. An example would be crocheting. Also, this is a sign of low potassium. Eating bananas would help. There are also exercises that you can do. See a doctor if symptoms persist.

It's doubtful that you have muscle spasms or cramps in your hands but if you think you do, I would get in touch with an orthopedist. More likely your discomfort is caused by arthritis or circulatory problems than muscle spasms or cramps. Perhaps you have carpal tunnel syndrome or something of that nature.

If the spasms and cramps have been going on for more than a few days, you need to go to a doctor to see what's wrong.
