While the credit card company probably hit you with a late fee, the payment is not reported "late" to the credit bureaus until it is more than 30 days late.

It all depends on your credit card policy. You will have to read the fine print. Normally missing a payment to your credit card by a few days will not show up on your credit report. Most Late payments are reported after 30 days. Even if your credit report is not affected your interest rate may go up.

Generally, credit card companies do not report negative information unless the payment is more then 30 days past due. Many companies have a short grace period built in.

No it won't. If you have a personal account nothing will be reported on your credit report until you have missed for thirty days. As long as you pay in that time frame your credit will be safe.

Credit reporting agencies come into play when you are 30 days or more late with payments to an account. Your credit card company will not report any late payment by 2 days.

Yes it will be in a credit report and there will be finance charges for the delay in payment. But due to regular payment of the same finance charges can be reversed. The delay can be seen in the credit card payment. Records has to kept with us to make the payment.
