Generally speaking your credit score is your private information and should have no effect on your employment. For most jobs, recruiters are not supposed to ask you for a credit report.

Many employers are hesitant to hire people with very low credit scores, because they think it reflects on their level of responsibility. This is more important if the job involves finances or security, because you might be more tempted to do something to compromise the company in exchange for money.

If you have a poor credit score, companies will see you as a high risk and would shun away from hiring you.
