You can be the first one to reach out. Ask her if you can talk to her somewhere that is quiet and uninterrupted. Just tell her you would like to call the squabble off and see what she says. If she won't talk, maybe give her a little more time.

Tell her that you respect her and her feelings and that you want to reopen a respectful and open dialog with her. Remember to keep your end of the deal.

If you were in the wrong, it is essential that you apologize to your daughter. By saying her "sorry," it lets your daughter see that you are not infallible and gives an opportunity to apologize as well. Sometimes, writing a letter out with your feelings will allow her to see your side of the argument.

A daughter will love you no matter what. So just let her cool off and then talk it out with her.
