How do you re-charge the air conditioner on a Buick Century?

This job should really be done buy a trained professional. Not only is the refrigerant dangerous but you can damage the system if you don't know what you are doing. Some older cars must also be converted to use the new type of coolant.

Anything that needs attention with AC should be handled by a professional but, if you insist on recharging your own look for two separate caps - one large (low side) and one small (high side) - that resemble large tire caps. Recharge the system using the low side (blue line) while the engine is running. Use caution, gloves and glasses.
