Rook should go straight always. White bishop should go through white boxes and Black bishop should go through black boxes only. Horse should move in "L" shape always. Soldiers can move 2 steps first time and there after it should move one step only. Queen can move any angle and no restriction to move. King should move one step only.

The game of chess is played on a 64 square black and white board with each side having a total of 16 pieces at the start of the game. The objective of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king. Pawns more 1 square at a time and can only capture diagonally, knights move 2 squares ahead and then 1 sideways, bishops diagonally, rooks horizontally or vertically, forward or back, and queen can both move diagonally, aswell as straight, like rooks. The king can move only 1 square next to him.

Each piece in chess has a specific role, the most important being the king. You must try and kill your opponent's king while yours must survive.

Chess the mind game I love it and I use to play the game, which I have downloaded to play against the computer itself, as player 1 & 2 simple.
