How do you plant a cherry tree from seedlings?

Place the pit in a container with sand and soil and keep in a refrigerator for at least sixty days. When the chance of frost has past you can plant it directly into the ground. Keep the seed watered every day until it sprouts.

Yes you can but they will be very hard to get to grow. The only way it has ever worked for me to start them from seeds is to start them in the house like a tomato plant then once they are bugger take them and plant them outdoors but they will need to be about a foot high.
