It is a common component of cough medications. Put the seeds in the sand in a temperatures more than fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Water the soil regularly. Keep it well aerated. It doesn't grow well in excess moisture. It requires good drainage.

First you need to sow the seeds once the temperature is above 50 degrees. Sow them 15 inches apart. You need to amend the soil you plant in. And water!
