Can you make your own dried spices?

I grow fresh herbs.

Yes you can. Place your fresh herbs, that have been washed and dried, on a baking sheet. Place them in a preheated oven set at 180 degrees. Leave the oven door open a crack. Leave the herbs in the oven, turning occaionally with a spatula for 3-4 hours. Once dry, crumble the herbs and place in an airtight jar.
