Mix half a cup vinegar, half a cup water, and 2 packages of the color you want. Boil the solution and let cool. Do this for every color you want and put them in separate containers. Twist and tie a shirt with rubber bands. Put shirt in a bucket. Squirt your solution(s) on the shirt. Let dry 24 hours! Wash.

Make a concentrated solution by dissolving kool aid in a minimum amount of water. Twist the cloth you wish to be tie dyed. Secure the twist with string or light rope. Place in kool aid solution. You may repeat this process with another twist and another color of kool aid.

Only animal fibers (wool, silk) or nylon can be dyed with Kool-Aid. It won't stick on cotton, linen or other synthetics. Use about one package of Kool-Aid per oz of fabric, dissolve in water. Use rubber bands or similar to create a tie dye pattern on your fabric. Heat the dye with the fabric on a stove top.

Choose item to tie dye. Mix the kool aid with water and pour into a squeeze bottle. Pour the kool aid mix over the item in random fashion.
