This does not actually work out as easy as it sounds. One is volume, the other is weight. Generally you can use this for reference... One pound contains 16 oz, and one cup of liquid contains 8 oz. This is about as close as you're going to get when comparing fluid ounces to "weight" ounces.

If you are talking about cooking then you can't really do this. The different ingredients have a different mass so it's impossible to do. For example if one pound equaled two cups of one ingredient it could equal a half a cup of another.
