Actually you cannot convert feet to acres since feet measures distance and acrea are a measure of area. Assuming your propety is rectangular, measure the width of your yard (in feet) and the length of your yard (in feet) multiply the two together and divide by 43560. For example, a yard 100 by 100 feet is 0. 22957 acres

One acres is equal to 43 560 square feet. If you know how many square feet your lot is you can divide that number by 43 560 to get the acres.
