How do you capture stills from a DVD?

You will have to put the dvd into your computer and go to your favorite scene. Then pause it and hold Crtl+Alt+Prt Scr. Then paste into program of choice.

You need to have software and hardware capable of video capture. Basically you would run the DVD on your PC and white its playing the software will be ready to go. When you get near what you want to capture, start the software. It will copy the video and you can gather still frames from that.
