You can remove the screws from the back of the DVD player -- make sure the device is unplugged before starting! Once the top case is removed, you should be able to easily unlock the DVD tray and pull it outwards to get your disk out.
Try opening your disk tray manually by using a fork or knife. If it is not opening and it is truly jammed, then you might want to open the disk tray by using a screw driver. Check around for screws and then uninstall the tray to pull the dvd out.
The device may have a small pin hole next to it which you can use a paper clip to open the tray. If it is a stand alone device you may have to remove the case. Locate the disc loader, open it and carefully remove the stuck DVD.
Take a paperclip and straighten out the one end. Look for a tiny hole by the dvd player. Insert the paper clip into the hole and apply a little pressure.
this is a bit complex but doable by jsut about anyone with a screwdriver. Jsut take all the screws out of the player that you can find to get the box off. ONce you have the covering of the player off there might be a cover over the DVD's themselves that require a few screws removed.
First things , does your player have an emergency ejection hole? If it does then get a paperclip, straighten it out and push it into the said hole.
If this doesn't work out try then:
Try flipping the DVD player over and gently shaking it. Disk settle in tray area and it will fall out when you press eject.

You can take the player apart or use a flat tip screwdriver with tape on the tip so you don't scratch the disc. If it's new enough you might want to see if the warranty covers the damage that caused it to get stuck. Just be sure if you do it yourself... unplug it first!
