First plan on the size and design you want. Most princess houses are at least two-storey tall, with towers, windows and bridges to be more realistic. Use materials that are light and that allow you to carry the doll house around. Use pastel colors, preferably pink, blue or yellow.

Design plans using 2 X 4's and particleboard panels. Make sure to keep in mind the size of the dolls that are going to be in the house.
