You begin by fattening up the male and female fish and allowing them to see each other for a few days. You then put the male in a big tank and let him see the female without releasing her from her tank. Wait until they mate. He will squeeze her eggs out. Take the female out. Not much profit.

Bettas are naturally born fighters! There are only certain times when the female will spawn and then you must only keep the male and female together in the same tank for an hour. To make a profit only buy from a good breeder and select small fish because they are younger than what you find in a fish store.

In order to breed bettas you will need a sexually mature male and female. In all honesty the market is so saturated with bettas imported from overseas at such a cheap rate, you will most likely make no money.

First thing to consider is acquiring both male and female betta fish. After that, condition the betta fish for breeding. While your conditioning your fish, put the breeding tank and make sure that this is clean.
