Empty/burn the gas out of the motor. Change the oil and oil filter. Mix a fuel stabilizer with a higher grade fuel than was previously used. Allow the motor to fun for a few minutes to allow the stabilizer to process throught the carburetor. Cover and store.

Flush the motor with fresh water while its running and let the motor run out of gas to ensure there is no gas left in the carburator for storage. Make sure all the water is drained so that it does not freeze. Change oil and all lubricants. Grease fittings and store inside if available.

Disconnect the fuel line and drain. Remove prop from engine. Run your motor until it stops running. Remove spark plugs and use fogging oil in each of the cylinders. Replace spark plugs. Change the oils in your motor. Cover your motor and you'll be done!

First, you drain completely the motor. You then put in a winter antifreeze specifically for marine motors. You must also get it out of the water, under cover preferably. Make sure you use the specific amount and correct kind of antifreeze.

To winterize, you should flush the engine with fresh water using flush muffs or simialr device. Let all water drain from the engine and wash down the engine with soap and water, rinse thoroughly. Fill with fuel and add a fuel stabilizer as instructed.
