To resolve windows Installer Service error you need to re-register the Msiexec. exe. If this doesn't work the only option to resolve the error is to reinstall the WIndows Installer.

Unless you have access to the installer source codes the only ways are: a) watch to the installer log files (usually placed in the same directory of the installer or in c:\ b) watch windows application registry there could be some usefull tips to point you out in the right direction

In order to fix Windows Installer you must go to the Microsoft website, then you must search for Windows Installer in the search box and click on the first-or-second links.

delete install shield from windows\program files and windows\program files\common files. Download latest windows installer 4. 5 from microsoft. com and install it. It will solve your problem

If you are looking for trouble shooting advice try an online computer forum. You will find great troubleshooting advice from other users who have experienced you same issues. You may also try to unregister and then re-register you windows installer.
