The symptoms for women: painful swelling and irritation in the eyes will be felt and irregular menstrual bleeding. And pain during sexual intercourse or bleeding after sex and also will have mild lower abdominal pains. The symptoms for men are white and watery discharge from the penis that may stain underwear and a burning sensation pain when passing urine.

Unlike gonorrhea, chlamydia doesn't survive well in the throat and is rarely if ever transmitted by oral sex. CDC guidelines state that there is no reason to test for it. If your throat were infected with chlamydia, standard treatments would clear it up.

Symptoms can show up 1 to 3 weeks after being infected with chlamydia. Symptoms likes eyes get infected, infection in rectum, bleeding after sex, soreness inside the penis, pain in lower abdomen, pain when passing urine.
