The best way I've found to get water out of my ears is to dab a solution of white vinegar and rubbing alchohol (1:1) with a q-tip.

If you have water in your ears, then you need to get it out so that you will not get an ear infection. You can lightly wipe it out with a cloth or insert cotton balls. Another option is for you to set a hair dryer on warm and low and gently blow your ear (but not directly).

Heat a moist towel in your microwave for about 15 seconds. Hold it on the outer part of your ear (the pinna)for about 5 minutes. Make sure you don't put it on your ear until it has cooled down enough so it doesn't burn you.

An easy and inexpensive solution is rubbing alcohol. It breaks the surface tension of the water (the force that holds it inside your ear) and lets the water flow out.

Tilt your head to the side. Pull ear lobe down and forward. You may have to do this several times to move or dislodge the water from ear canal. Don't use bulb syringe, as you can puncture ear drum. If you are prone to water in ears, try ear plugs.
