Depending on the phone, there should be a compartment with a removeable slider located on the backside of the phone. Try pushing down on the top most past whilst pushing out towards the bottom.

It depends of the type of the phone you use cause they offer a lot of different models, but in general, you should remove the cover, either by sliding it, or pressing a button, if there's any for that purpose, and than you should be able to take it out. But, don't force it, cause you can break it.

Look on the back of the phone. If there is a button or latch push or pull it while sliding the cover off. It may be necessary to look for an area of indentation where a seam is. If there is not any kind of button or lever attached to the battery case, just pull or slide it off.

You can start by taking the back off your phone to see if you can get to the battery and if you can then just take it out. If you can not then take it into any phone store they will help you.

It really shouldn't be hard at all to get the battery out. Unless you have an ancient phone, most phones you just unclick the back panel or slide it off, and the battery is in there. Just pull it out by the notch it gives you on the battery for easy access to take it out.

It really depends on what make and model the phone is. Most phones have some sort of mechanism on the back, so look for a tab or other cover. Some phones have no battery at all (like the iPhone). If all else fails, try calling Cingular directly, they'll have your phone model and directions for removing the battery.

Yes depending on the size of the sim card of both phones you can use a Tracfone sim in a Cingular phone.
