Lets say the values are in two column a1 and b1. So, to find the difference between two values, use the following formula: =(a1-a2) Write this formula in any other cell, and press the return key. It will print thediffernce in that cell.

first you need the cell formatted as text. Format the cell as a general or number. You may need to go back to the formula and delete the =sign and re-enter.

If you have numbers, you can make a new column and subtract the two values. Then you can check with ISNULL if the values are different.

You can use Pivot Table in Excel to achieve it. You first create a Pivot Table with data source on the cells you wish to find the distinct values. You can either apply the cell range into row or column for the pivot table. After it is done, the column or row would be the distinct values.
