Agrippa was a magician, occultist, astrologist, theologian in his day. Mary Shelley mentions Grippa in her book, Frankenstein, when Vicktor Frankenstein reads and admires his works. In another short story by Shelley called, "The Immortal Mortal," Agrippa creates a magic elixir that allows his apprentice to live for centuries.
