They are extremely common in the first part of pregnancy due to the rising levels of hormones in your body. In the early weeks your hormones are rising so fast that it causes headaches and morning sickness.

Headaches in early pregnancy are quite common, especially among women who frequently have headaches during their menstrual cycle. This is usually caused by the influx of hormones that your body is not used to. If you get a severe (Worst headache you've ever had) headache, you should see a doctor as soon as possible, there is some risk.

Keep aspirin handy. Though it is probably different for each woman, I know that when I was pregnant I would get headaches and feel tired a lot. Though if you feel they are too frequent or they intensify in pain please see your doctor immediately. He or she will be able to help you.

During pregnancy, your blood volume increases greatly to prepare to nourish and grow the baby growing inside of you. As a result of these changes headaches or light headedness are not uncommon side effects. However, if you are having severe headaches on a regular basis, you should definately contact your doctor.
