How can I deactivate a Chevy's air bag?

You must unmount the device that holds it within the wheel. Be carefull when doing so, you don't wanna get hit by the airbag itself. The proper way of doing this, is by stanting outside of the car, and under the wheel, that way you can avoid getting hit by the bag.

On way to deactivate the air bag is by setting it off so it doesn't have an air bag to deploy. Another way that is similar, is just to remove it. That way you can sell the airbag and make money while making your car more unsafe for yourself, maybe.

First, open your hood and remove your negative battery cable. Using your manual as a reference, find the fuse in the fuse box that corresponds with the air bag. Remove the fuse. Reconnect your battery cable. Air bag deactivated!
