I've not used this, wish I'd had it when I raised my VERY strong American bulls, rather than a prong collar. The reviews are excellent, use it as a training asset.

It takes a while for dogs to adjust to the Gentle Leader, but most do very well with it. Dogs can still eat, breathe and bark while wearing it, so it's very humane. For dogs who can't adjust to the Gentle Leader, the Gentle Walker is a harness alternative.

Yes I have tried the gentle leader head collar. I have a 100lb dog and it worked wonderful. It took a bit for him to get used to it, but with treats it worked great. It is now much easier to walk my dog.

Gentle Leader is very good for dogs that pulls on their leash. It works much better than the choking types of training device on the market and more humane as well. They work by guiding their heads and does not hinder barking or eating they they are on.

Of the head halter collars some prefer the Gentle Leader. I do not care for the way it turns the dog's head when used. I prefer the Canny Collar.

I have never tried this head leader but have seen it around my neighborhood. It looks like a leash allows easy control of the dog.
