Get some ground lamb and saute it in a large skillet. Drain well. Cook some rice (regular, not instant) and mix it with an equal part of the cooked lamb. The Lamb & Rice diet is very bland and prescribed for dogs with digestive issues.

Your dog needs a very bland diet for at least a day or two. Boil a chicken and some white rice. Start with more rice than chicken meat. Use the broth to make it soupy. Do this for a day or two, then slowly add his kibble back in.

The best thing you can feed your dog when he has stomach issues is microwaved or roasted (Anything except frying, really - fats can aggravate his stomach) chicken with well cooked rice and soft-cooked vegetables (carrots, peas - simple basics). This is very gentle on his system and also nutritious.

I am a pet owner and I have experienced this with my small dogs. When my dogs experienced vomiting and diarrhea I did some research and was told to feed a bland diet of canned pumpkin. The canned pumpkin works wonders for almost immediately clearing up the problem for any type of pet.

Most vets will recommend plain chicken or ground beef and rice for a dog that has had stomach issues. Do not fry the meat - boil it.
