Have you ever seen white caterpillars?

I thought I saw one but wasn't sure it was really white.

Caterpillars are usually green with white hairs. The hair can be so thick that all you see is white. There are other colored caterpillar type creatures in existence, but some have spikes and are poisonous if you step on their stinger. The white haired kind are not poisonous. There are some that are red with black hair too.

Yes I have seen white caterpillars. Specifically on poplar trees. White caterpillars are most likely white admiral caterpillars, which live on poplar trees.

no, i think there is none because I have been to a butterfly garden and have not seen a white caterpillar, white butterflies comes from green caterpillar. I wasn't sure about seeing a white one

today 3/4 of the leaves on the plant are gone. white fuzzy caterpillar are allover it. i never saw or had problems with any caterpillars let alone a white one
