I have played croquet before but not for several years. The game requires a freshly mowed lawn to spread the small metal pieces over and is a good game to play on a warm summer evening.

The oldest piece of paper to bear the word "croquet" with a description of the modern game is the set of rules registered by Isaac Spratt in November 1856 with the Stationers' Company in London. This record is now in the English Public Records Office. hope i could help you with this

No I do not play croquet. I have played croquet at a family reunion a couple of times but I have not plaed it recently. Croquet is not that popular where i live.

I do not play croquet. It was fun the only time that I did partake in this activity. My one word of advice is know how to aim the ball.
